Recently, the 11th Vocational College Skills Competition of Shanghai's Starlight Program came to a successful conclusion. Students from the School of Art of Shanghai Zhongqiao Polytechnic University have stood out in multiple competitions with their solid professional skills and outstanding performance on the stage, winning numerous honors and bringing honor to their school!
In the graphic design technology competition, students from our college demonstrated strong design thinking and practical skills. Among them, Chen Xinyi and Zhou Jiajun from Class 23 Advertising 1, under the joint guidance of teachers Sun Rongling and Shen Yuan, won the second prize with their outstanding works. What's more, the team members of this competition worked in synergy and simultaneously won the third place in the team project award, proving the teaching achievements and teamwork level of our college's Visual Communication Design major with their strength.
In the 3D digital game art competition, which is filled with a sense of technology and creativity, our students also lived up to expectations. Student Fan Yimin (supervised by Yang Yang) won the second prize for her meticulous modeling skills and unique artistic concepts; student Chen Kaiye (supervised by Shen Yihan) also achieved the third prize with his solid professional foundation, adding another remarkable achievement to the college's accomplishments in the field of digital media art design.
In the visual arts design competition that tested team collaboration and comprehensive design abilities, the team composed of four students: Yan Jing, Zhou Yue, Guo Jikun, and Xie Yichen, under the careful guidance of teachers Zhou Yiqi, Yang Yang, Wu Dongying, and Shen Yihan, successfully won the second prize with their tacit cooperation and innovative design concepts, fully demonstrating the comprehensive qualities and team spirit of our students in the various aspects of design and presentation.
The achievements of honor are inseparable from the comprehensive support and meticulous guarantees provided by the academy. Moreover, it embodies the concerted efforts and strength of the entire academy. In the future, the College of Arts will continue to use competitions as a bond, deeply cultivating the connotation of vocational education, and encouraging more students to strive for the peak in their professional tracks, showcasing the spirit of Zhongqiao!
