On October 30, 2025, Teacher Zhang Delin, the secretary of the Youth League Committee of the Art College of Shanghai Zhongqiao Polytechnic University, led the 2026 graduates of the college to the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center to participate in the "Construction and Transportation Position Promotion Conference" of the 2025 Shanghai International City and Architecture Expo.
This promotion event was hosted by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, gathering over 60 leading and backbone enterprises in the industry such as China Construction Eighth Engineering Division, Shanghai Construction Group, and Shanghai Urban Construction Design & Research Institute. It covered multiple core fields including architectural design, urban operation, green construction, providing rich employment options and development opportunities for the participating students.
At the event site, students proactively visited the booths of various participating enterprises, carefully inquired about their recruitment needs, job requirements and development prospects, and precisely submitted their resumes based on their own professional strengths and career plans. In light of the professional characteristics, everyone focused on in-depth communication with enterprises in fields such as architectural decoration design, urban cultural and creative planning, and environmental art creation, fully exchanging views on issues such as job skill requirements and industry development trends. The students actively demonstrated their professional qualities and practical abilities, and took the initiative to negotiate and connect with the recruitment managers of enterprises. Many of them successfully reached initial employment intentions.
This participation in the job promotion meeting is an important measure taken by the School of Art to deepen school-enterprise cooperation and broaden employment channels. It not only builds a job-hunting bridge for students to directly face high-quality enterprises, but also helps students clarify the development direction of the industry and accumulate job-hunting experience.
