Vifu Hongyu Vice-Dean represented the Art College of China Overseas University and officially signed a cooperation project with Shanghai Tuyuan Ceramic Technology Center. Both parties will engage in in-depth cooperation regarding the inheritance and development of the intangible cultural heritage of black pottery, with the focus on promoting the research, creativity and development of cultural products related to black pottery culture.

Professor Zhu Xi led the student representatives to participate throughout the technical exchange and exhibition observation sessions of the event. The students had the opportunity to closely observe the exquisite techniques of black pottery production and had in-depth discussions with the inheritors of intangible cultural heritage about issues such as black pottery pattern design and process innovation. They all expressed that they were deeply inspired. At the seminar, Professor Zhu Xi shared his insights on the theme of "enterprise-school cooperation, collaborative empowerment, design first, cultural and creative as the main focus".

This time, being invited to participate in the black pottery culture-themed activity is a vivid practice of the art college's commitment to the concept of "introducing intangible cultural heritage to the campus and nurturing new talents through culture". It is also an important measure to deepen the cooperation between the school and the local area and promote the integration of education and industry.

In the future, the art college will take this signing as an opportunity to fully leverage its disciplinary and professional advantages, form a specialized team to conduct in-depth research and creative design on black pottery culture, cultivate more reserve talents for inheriting intangible cultural heritage who possess both cultural literacy and innovation capabilities, and help this thousand-year-old intangible cultural heritage treasure of black pottery regain new vitality and vigor in the new era.
